Students wishing to perform in an additional ensemble on the Prism Concert need to perform that ensemble for Mr. Hall no later this Wednesday!! Please make sure you have checked the rosters posted in the band room for the spelling of your name.
Students performing additional solos and ensembles at the FBA Solo and Ensemble need to begin securing their piano accompanist (if needed) now. Names and contact information for pianists are posted in the band room. Students performing at S&E need to play their solo or ensemble for Mr. Hall by Saturday, December 5. Guard members need to submit their music by this date and need to perform their routine for review by Friday, December 11. Please remember that the FBA allows a maximum of four entries per student at S&E.
The band will be performing at K-8s on Tuesday, November 25 during the day. The itinerary is as follows: Report to the band room at 7:33 AM. We will depart TCHS at 7:45. Arrive at Alappatha Flats K-8 at 8:15 AM, Setup/Warmup 8:45 AM, Perform 9:00 AM, Load 9:30 AM, Depart 10:00 AM; Arrive at Oak Hammock K-8 at 10:20 AM, Setup 10:50 AM, Perform 11:00 AM, Load 11:30 AM, Depart 12:00 PM; Arrive at Manatee K-8 at 12:10 PM, Setup 12:40 PM, Lunch 12:45-1:25, Perform 1:40, Load 2:10, Depart 2:40; arrive at St. Lucie West K-8 at 2:50, Setup 3:10, Perform 3:20, Load 3:50, Depart 4:20, Return to TCHS 4:40, Offload 4:45, Dismissal 5:30. Students will need to wear Uniform B. Lunch is being provided.

Please review concert uniform information in the band handbook and be making plans now to secure necessary materials for concert uniforms. If you are unsure of something about your uniform, please bring it in and show it to Mr. Hall.
Please remember that we will be taking band pictures during class on Tuesday and Wednesday December 15 and 16.
The next booster meeting is December 3 at 7:00 PM. Booster meetings are in the TCHS Band Room.
We are in need of volunteers to help out on the following dates:
We are in need of parents to help out with decorating the auditorium on Saturday, December 5th. We will begin decorating at 10:00 AM. We also need parents to help out with chaperoning the Festival Lights Parade that evening.
We also need parents to assist with running the box office on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, December 1: 12:00-5:00
Thursday, December 3: 2:00-8:00
Tuesday, December 8: 5:00-8:00
Thursday, December 10: 2:00-6:45
Friday, December 11: 2:00-6:45
We are in need of a few parents to help at the dress rehearsal on December 8 and we are also in need of parents to help out at both nights of the Prism Concert on December 10 and 11.
On Monday December 14 we will be doing desserts for school staff and are in need of assistance with that.
On Tuesday and Wednesday December 15 and 16 we will be taking band portraits during the school day. We will need parent volunteers to help out with uniforms.
We are in need of chaperones to help with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade on January 18.
We are in need of one parent to help chaperone the 4-County Honor Band rehearsals on January 22 and 23.
