There is a booster meeting tonight at 6:00 PM. In addition to our normal business meeting agenda we will be going over trip information for parents who need that information and were unable to attend the first meeting.
Below is the schedule of stops on the way to DC. We'll be stopping for dinner at the Savannah Mall. Click on this link to see a list of the restaurants in the food court.

7:55 PM Stop at Savannah Mall for dinner (Bring cash, remember you’ll be reimbursed upon arrival in DC)
9:00 PM Reload buses and continue north
12:30 AM Stop at North Carolina Welcome Center to use the restroom
1:00 AM Reload buses and continue north
3:30 AM Stop at the Virginia Welcome Center and use the restroom
4:00 AM Reload buses and continue north
6:30 AM Breakfast at Old Country Buffet
8:00 AM Reload buses and continue north
9:00 AM Arrive at National Archives Building
Monday – No afterschool activities (please turn in trip forms and please begin packing your suitcase).
Tuesday – 2:30 – 4:30 PM Trip Rehearsal. 6:00 – 7:00 PM Parent Meeting #2 (for parents who were not able to attend the first meeting)/Band Booster Meeting.
Wednesday – Suitcases must be dropped off by 5:00 PM. Suitcases may be dropped off and tagged before school or after school. Instruments will be tagged after each class. All forms and medication must be submitted by this date.
Thursday – Students traveling to DC need to report to the band room after 5th hour/Lunch (whichever is later) at 12:06. We depart at 1:00.
Saturday – TCHS Drive Fundraiser. Information will be sent out Monday afternoon.
Monday – 2:00-4:00 Drum Major Clinic
Tuesday – 2:30-4:30 Trip Rehearsal/MIOS Rehearsal 4:00-7:00 at Centennial in the band room. Remember to bring a stand. (Students in both groups may arrive late to Centennial)
Wednesday – 9:00-3:00 MIOS Rehearsal at the Fenn Center. Students may bring a lunch or purchase a lunch from the concession stand. Don’t forget to wear your band polo.
Thursday – MIOS Concert. Report time is 5:45 and the performance begins at 7:00. Students will wear concert uniforms.
Friday – No school. Drum Major Auditions 3:00-5:30.
Tuesday – 2:30-4:30 Trip Rehearsal. 6:00 Trip Meeting #2/Band parent meeting. This is the same trip information that was reviewed at the meeting after spring break and at the meeting after the rehearsal Tuesday, April 4.
Wednesday – Luggage must be dropped off by 5:00 PM.
Thursday – Departure for DC.

The Music In Our Schools Honor Band is next week. The schedule is at the end of this update.
The Jazz Band is performing for the opening of the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Port St. Lucie Blvd next Wednesday morning.
Drum Major auditions are next Friday.
On April 18 there is a trip meeting for parents who were unable to attend the meeting on March 28.
Please make sure all DC trip paperwork has been turned in.
The alternate assignment for State S&E for guard is located in Charms.
The Spring Awards are May 20.
April 11: Reading Session: St. Lucie West Centennial High School 4:00 – 7:00 in the auditorium. Bring a stand!
April 12: Clinician Rehearsal: Fenn Center (in Ft. Pierce). 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM. A stand is not needed. Students should wear band polos
April 13: Concert: Fenn Center Report time: 5:15 – Attendance time: 5:25. Concert: 7:00-8:00. Wear your concert uniform.
