Please remember to update your information in Charms. All band forms and course syllabi must be returned before departure on August 18 in order for students to perform at the first game.
Items from www.mybandstuff.com must be ordered by August 22.
Cookie dough will be delivered on August 24 and can be picked up after marching practice.
Students who wish to audition for the Florida All-State Bands must play their audition material for Mr. Hall by Friday, August 25 and turn in the All-State contracts to Mr. Hall on Monday, August 28.
It is imperative to drink water the night before marching practice, the morning of marching practice, and throughout the day on the day of marching practice. Students should make sure to eat dinner the night before practice, breakfast the day of practice and lunch the day of practice. Students are strongly encouraged to bring a snack to eat before marching practice and can bring a snack for one of the breaks while we are on the field. Students need to make sure to bring a FULL water cooler to school tomorrow for marching practice, their practice uniform, instrument, flip folder, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Students may wear camelback hydration backpacks at marching practice in addition to having their water cooler if they choose to. Students will get changed after school in the lobby restrooms, eat their snack they have brought and prepare to transition to the field. There is a 35 minute window for students to get ready to prepare to the field. Students should begin to transition to the field at 2:15. Please note that dismissal is at 5:00. It takes students approximately 15 minutes to return to the band room from the field. Please allow time for your student to get to the band room and put their equipment away. Please check with your child to see if they have a sectional after practice or if they are doing playing tests after practice (this can vary by section and these are scheduled by the students).

7:00 PM – Kick-off
9:30 PM – Game ends/transition to buses
9:50 PM – Depart for TCHS
10:20 PM – Arrive at TCHS
10:45 PM – Dismissal
Band members will wear their show shirts, practice shorts (black shorts), and white tennis shoes for this game. Students will need to bring a FULL water cooler to the game. Please review the inspection check-list in the band handbook prior to arriving. Students need to make sure they have their flip folders (with all music shrunk and in the flip folder), instrument and necessary supplies for their instrument prior to inspection.
STUDENTS MUST HAVE ALL THEIR BAND FORMS SUBMITTED AND NOTARIZED IN ORDER TO PERFORM AT THIS GAME
Please note that while the band will arrive at TCHS prior to the dismissal time, students have to put away equipment and pick up after themselves prior to dismissal.
