Congratulations on a great performance at the MLK Parade! The band did a great job. The next few months are pretty busy, please be sure to check the calendar regularly for what’s going on. There is a concert season parent information meeting in the band room Thursday night at 6:00 PM to fill parents in on what they need to know for happenings between now and spring break.
Students who are interested in auditioning for college scholarships for next fall need to be sure to check audition dates at the school of their choice and schedule an audition time. If you’d like Mr. H. to listen to your audition material, please contact him and set up a time.
Be sure to check the class agendas for homework and missed work if you are out of class. They are located in Charms.

January is off to a great start for the Titan Band! It’s a busy month so be sure to check the Charms calendar so you are aware of what’s going on. Remember to log in to your account so you see your calendar. The calendar on the website isn’t ensemble specific. Remember that any sectional your section leader schedules is required with two week’s notice. Scheduled sectionals will appear on the weekly agenda but not the Charms calendar. BE SURE TO CHECK IN WITH YOUR SECTION LEADER. The concert season parent information meeting for next week has been moved from Tuesday to Thursday at 6:00 PM. Sorry for the last minute notice on that. Remember to make sure to have your piano parts and pianist payment to Mr. Hall by Thursday of this week. Pianist fees are below the parade agenda if you need them again. If you'd like input or help with your S&E music, Mr. H. is available before and after sectionals on a first come, first serve basis. Wednesday, 1/22 is S&E help day from 12:00-2:30 for anyone who is interested.

It’s S&E and Concert MPA Season! Things move very fast between now and Spring Break. The weekly news is a good way to know what’s going on for that week, but be sure to check the Calendar in Charms and the board in class so you’re able to stay on top of things.
S&E title changes must be turned in to Mr. Hall no later than 1/7 at 11:00 AM. Accompanist piano parts will be collected at the beginning of class on January 13-16 with payment for the accompanist. Students who do not turn in piano parts on these dates will need to secure their own accompanist. Accompanist fees are as follows: Grade 3 $45, Grade 4 $55, Grade 5 $65, Grade 6 $75, Grade 7 $85. Accompanists accept cash or money orders only. Mr. Hall is available to help students with solos and ensembles any day there is an after school rehearsal from 1:41-2:25.
